Privacy Policy

Bacolod Rent a Car is committed to protecting your privacy. We promise to keep all the information that you share with us confidential. We only collect personal information from customers in order to process billing, fulfill service and provide a personal and customized experience. We do not share your information with any outside parties.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation made during rental schedule or No Show shall be charged 100% of the total rental.

Refund and Finance

Charges will be shouldered by the RENTER.

Unconsumed

All unconsumed will not be refunded.

Car Rental Requirements

Car Rental Requirements will be collected on the rental date. Lacking car rental requirement will forfeit your reservation. Our representative may ask for an additional Identification Card for security purposes.

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Two Valid Government Issued ID (Philippine Resident), Passport (Foreign Resident) with arrival stamp of not more than 90 days.
  • Full rental payment in cash upon delivery/pick-up. If you prefer to pay using credit card or PayPal, you need to pay prior to your rental date.
  • PHP 5,000 Security Deposit. You will provide this when you get the car. This will be given back to you in full upon returning the car and there are no damages.

Who May Drive the Car

The RENTER represents that he/she is a capable and licensed driver. The COMPANY has the right to refuse to rent the car if the Renter’s license has been suspended, revoked, or has not been renewed. Only the RENTER, the spouse, or if the RENTER rents under his/her employer’s corporate account, the employer or a regular fellow employee incidental to the business duties may drive the car, but only with the RENTER’S prior permissions. The other driver must be at least 25 years old and must also be a capable and validly licensed driver.

Damage Caused to/Lose of Rented Vehicle

RENTER must secure Police Report, photocopy of driver’s license, and will pay P5000.00 Participation Fee and 50% of the daily rate, exclusive of insurance liability. The COMPANY shall not be held liable to pay for any loss and damage not covered by the insurance policy, thus, the RENTER agrees to pay all the expenses beyond the limit of the insurance policy.

For damages assessed by our accredited repair shops to be less than P5000.00, the renter must pay for the repair of the said damages. Payments can be deducted from the SECURITY DEPOSIT.

The COMPANY is not liable to any fortuitous events that may damage or prevent the vehicle from reaching the desired destination on time.

The RENTER understands that he/she is not allowed to repair or have the car repaired without the consent of the COMPANY. If the car is repaired without the COMPANY’S consent, the RENTER will pay the estimated cost to restore the car to its condition prior to the rental. If the COMPANY will authorize the RENTER to have the car repaired, the COMPANY shall reimburse the RENTER the cost of the said repairs.

If the car is stolen and not recovered, the RENTER shall pay the COMPANY the car’s fair market value before it
was stolen.

Rental Extension / Excess Hours

Three hundred pesos (Php 300.00) per excess hour. If rental covers 6 hours or more (up to 24 hours) the daily rate shall be applied.

Delay of Return

Delay of return without prior notice from the RENTER shall compel the COMPANY to report the vehicle as missing to the authorities.

Other Charges

  • FLAT TIRES/TRAFFIC FINES WHILE ON RENTAL – shall be charged to the RENTER.
  • LOST/DAMAGED KEYS: a fine of THREE HUNDRED PESOS (Php 300.00).
  • CAR WASH AND FUEL: to be shouldered by the RENTER; or THREE HUNDRED PESOS for the car wash fee.
  • DAMAGED PARTS OF THE CAR: shall be paid immediately by the RENTER.
  • TOWING FEE: renter shall be liable of the vehicle towing fee in case of involvement in vehicular accident.

Other Reminders

  • Smoking inside the rented vehicle is prohibited.
  • Foods and supplies that have foul odor shall not be brought inside the vehicle. Pets are also not allowed inside the vehicle. One Thousand Pesos (Php 1000.00) is chargeable to the renter for the said violation.
  • Hatchback and Sedan cars are not allowed to be brought to rough roads.
  • The RENTER undertakes and guarantees that the rented vehicle shall be used to operate for lawful purposes. The COMPANY is not liable for any unlawful use of the rented vehicle. The COMPANY is not liable for any damages caused due to force majeure, and any incurred damages shall be under the RENTER’s responsibility.
  • The allowed route is within the province only. If the renter wishes to bring the vehicle outside the region, permission from the COMPANY has to be acquired first.
  • If the renter prefers the vehicle to be delivered, there is a charge. The fee will be determined depending on the location. A pick-up fee is also charged, and the same conditions apply as for the delivery.
  • The COMPANY is not liable for any loss or damage to any property left, stored or transported by the RENTER or any other person in or upon vehicle before or during the term of this rental or after the return of the vehicle.
